Home Program Menu The Inn & Rooms Q & A Meet the Family About Joe & Jen
Semi-formal. A rule of thumb might be: if it looks right for church or for a holiday party, it probably is right here. It will take place in the evening, so festive is good! Although official inn check-in is usually 3:00, you can arrive almost anytime on Saturday even if your particular room isn't quite ready yet since we are renting the whole place out. If you wish to come earlier, you may also contact the inn to book your assigned room for Friday night. Joe & Jen have booked the entire inn for Saturday night and rooms have been assigned based on logical grouping of guests. It is our treat for that night. We would love if you would want to stay longer, in which case you can reserve and pay for your own room for Friday. Jay & Michelle, Sarah & Brian, and Joe & Jen are so far all planning to arrive on Friday. Our main idea is that everyone have fun, be comfortable, relax, and have fun.
Yes, I know I wrote that twice.
Where will events take place?: Everything -- the ceremony, the dinner, the cocktail hour -- will take place right at the inn. After the ceremony the main room of the inn will be converted to a dining area, during which time we will be serving cocktails and appetizers in another room.Music and photography: We are keeping the ceremony as small and intimate as possible -- not regarding only the guest list, but the vendor list as well. We aren't going to hire a band or bring in a professional photographer, for example. Other than the inn's catering staff and the justice of the peace, the only people there will be family. We would love if people have digital cameras that they would bring them and use them. If you have some CDs of classical or similar music that you like, go ahead and bring it along. Colors: It is a winter wedding, so the colors are white and silver. Since the inn will be decorated for Christmas, red will be an accent color. These are the colors that will be worn by the wedding party.
